 Brent Clayson - Registered Audiologist

Brent Clayson’s hearing healthcare began in his home state
where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Idaho State
University in 2000. Four years later, he completed his Master of
Science degree in Audiology.
During his studies, Mr. Clayson worked at the Idaho State
University’s Veteran’s clinic. He also provided newborn hearing
screenings at the Portneuf Medical Centre. Mr. Clayson
successfully completed externships with Idaho’s Pocatello
School District and with a private Audiology clinic in
Pocatello, Idaho.
In June 2004, Mr. Clayson joined Canadian Hearing Care’s
sister company in the U.S., providing balance and hearing
assessments. In September 2004, he joined Canadian Hearing
Care in B.C., bringing his experience and commitment to better
hearing care to Prince George.
 D’Arcy White - Registered Audiologist

D’Arcy White attended the University of Regina and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology at
Minot State University, then continued to complete a Master of
Science degree in Audiology.
For the next decade, Ms. White delivered hearing assessments
and aural rehabilitation to children and adults for the Province
of Saskatchewan, and later for the Wascana Rehabilitation
Hospital. Ms. White also helped coordinate the province’s Cleft
Lip and Palate Clinic in southern Saskatchewan.
She moved to B.C. in 1992 to manage Canadian Hearing Care’s
Salmon Arm office. Ms. White ensures the comprehensive
delivery of diagnostic and rehabilitation to both adults and
children who are challenged by hearing impairments. She is
an active ambassador in her community, conducting hearing
seminars to schools, nursing homes and the hospital.
 Daniel Allen - Registered Audiologist

Mr. Allen began his hearing healthcare career in 1978 when he
began building hearing aids at Allen’s Electronics in Eugene,
Oregon. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the
University of Oregon and his Master of Science degree at
Oregon State University. He moved on to own and manage the
company at which he began his career, Allen’s Electronics.
In 1991, after two years as an audiologist in Kamloops, Mr.
Allen joined Starkey Labs-Canada Ltd. and became Managing
Director of this hearing aid manufacturing facility.
Mr. Allen joined Canadian Hearing Care in 1998. He remains
an active advocate of hearing healthcare education, and has
taught classes across North America on the testing and fitting
of hearing aids.

After obtaining her M.A. in Audiology, Dr. Galloway returned to the province of Ontario where she was employed by Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children. In addition to her general duties as a pediatric audiologist she also became a specialist in the areas of cleft lip and palate, craniofacial anomalies and cochlear implants. She was promoted to the position of Director of the Department of Audiology and later the Department of Communication Disorders (Speech Language Pathology and Audiology). Dr. Galloway was one of the individuals responsible for initiating pediatric cochlear implant services in Canada. She was a Clinical Lecturer with the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Western Ontario and a Lecturer with the Department of Otolaryngology, Faculty of Medicine at a the University of Toronto. She has made numerous presentations regarding cochlear implants and has several publications related to hearing loss. In 1996 Dr. Galloway entered private practice specializing in hearing related issues in adults. In 2007, she obtained her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in Philadelphia.
In 2008, Dr. Galloway joined Canadian Hearing Care in their Penticton, B.C. office where she provides services in a caring and friendly manner. Her goals are to educate her patients and their families about hearing loss and to use the latest technology to provide individualized solutions to their hearing needs.
 Theresa Durante M.Sc.
- Audiologist
In 2001 Theresa Durante finished her undergraduate studies with a Batchelor
of Science Degree in Psychology. After graduation she was employed for 4
years as an Audiometric Technician in one of the largest tertiary hospitals
in the Philippines. She conducted audiometric testing and newborn hearing
screenings for both inpatient and outpatient populations, and was
responsible for the department's documentation and data control.
In 2005 Mrs. Durante began work on her Masters Degree in Audiology at The
University of the Philippines in Manila. During that time she trained at
the Philippine National Ear Institute, the influential government agency for
national health in hearing and balance. She assisted with research studies
and diagnostic hearing evaluations for all age groups nationwide. Her
training provided expertise in the science of hearing impairment and
amplification, and insight into the communicative and social impact of
hearing impairment.
Mrs. Durante joined Manila's largest Hearing Aid dispensing company in 2007
where she stayed until she joined Canadian Hearing Care in February 2009.
Now settled with her family in Kelowna, she brings to the area a unique set
of skills to the field of Audiology. She enjoys living and working in the
Okanagan and is already an active hearing ambassador in the community.
 Rosemary Saint Michaels, BCHIS
Rosemary Saint Michaels began her hearing health care career in 1989.
After twenty years on the front desk, she went back to school and
graduated in June 2008 from the Grant MacEwan College Hearing Aid
Practitioner Program. As a Hearing Instrument Specialist, she received
her BC Board of Hearing Aid Dealer and Consultants License in September
2008.
Ms. Saint Michaels was born in Kamloops, and has lived here most of her
life. As a person who has worked with the hearing impaired for twenty
years, she is dedicated to the care and maintenance of client service
and understanding of their hearing loss. She likes to work with family
and friends of the hearing impaired as their understanding of their
loved ones hearing difficulties often is part of the rehabilitation process.
 Darryl Walker - BCHIS

Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary and
Hearing Aid Specialist, Mr. Walker joined Canadian Hearing Care in 1998. He is B.C.I.T. graduate and is a Certified Electronics Technologist.
Darryl has held varied management positions during his career in the electronics industry. He values his clients and has won a number of corporate awards for Customer Service. In November of 2007 he became a Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist and manages the Revelstoke and Vernon clinics.
Darryl enjoys working with clients and their families, using counseling and the latest hearing instrument technology to provide aural rehabilitation on an individual basis.
 Lynsey Coghlan - B.A., B.Sc., R.H.A.P.,
B.C.H.I.S.
Lynsey Coghlan joined Canadian Hearing Care from the UK where she originally studied Business Administration and worked as a Commercial Officer for the Ministry of Defence alongside the Royal Navy. Inspired by a sign language class, she decided to return to university and study Audiology.
Miss Coghlan trained for four years at the University of Bristol in England, during which time she held a one year practicum at The Great Western Hospital in Wiltshire as well as undertaking work placements at Chicago University Hospital and Madison Audiology in New York City. Upon graduating Miss Coghlan worked for 18 months as a Locum Audiologist at various hospitals across the UK treating both adults and children.
In September 2009 she moved to Canada where she quickly completed examinations to license as a Board Certified Hearing Aid Practitioner in Alberta. Now living in Calgary she brings a unique set of skills to the hearing industry and is no stranger to the North American culture as she worked at the United Nations Head Quarters in New York for UNICEF.
